Many of TimeSheet Professional’s UK customers’ employees have used the opt out provisions under the Working Time Regulations that enact the European Working Time Directive under UK law. In consequence, these TimeSheet Professional customers have no need to record working time and to have a working time reporting and management solution.

TimeSheet Professional does not contain a working time rules engine or database, so it is not a complete solution for the requirements of the European Working Time Directive.

However, the information tracked in TimeSheet may well provide the underlying data for your working time reporting management requirements. If this is the case, then using TimeSheet for data capture may well provide the key to a lower cost solution that also eliminates data capture, as the core requirement will be for a working time calculator, populated with data already captured in TimeSheet.
